Joseph Grimaldi is a former professional ice hockey player who is now a real estate developer and entrepreneur. He is the owner of Sun Mesa Sanctuary, a luxury rental property in Joshua Tree, California. Grimaldi was born in the United States and holds citizenship in the United States, Malta, and Italy. He began his professional ice hockey career in 2005 and played for various organizations including the New York Islanders, Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks, Ottawa Senators, Carolina Hurricanes, St. Louis Blues, and Buffalo Sabres. In 2015, he retired from ice hockey and enrolled at the University of Nebraska Omaha where he earned his bachelor's degree in 2017.

After graduation, Grimaldi worked for Porsche AG and then for medical companies Stryker Orthopedics, Paragon 28, and Smith & Nephew. In 2019, he founded Cutting Edge Surgical, a Los Angeles-based company that provides medical devices to elite surgeons like Craig Ziering, Ashkan Ghavami, and James Reid. Grimaldi's latest venture is Sun Mesa Sanctuary, a four-bedroom/two-bath private desert destination that he conceived as the ultimate place for travelers to reconnect with one another. The property features a "boho chic sensibility with Los Angeles glamour" and has been featured in various publications including Architectural Digest and Forbes Travel Guide.

Mr. Chaudhari is a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur who has spent his career developing real estate projects, building companies and making investments in a wide array of businesses. As a graduate of Tufts University (MS in Chemical Engineering) and USC’s Marshall School of Business (MBA in Finance/Entrepreneurship), Romie worked as a design and petroleum engineer at Raytheon, before turning his focus to real estate.

Mr. Chaudhari runs his family office, Chiron Investments, and his real estate investments include multi-family, creative office, light industrial, restaurants, and unentitled land. Most of his real estate holdings are in Southern California, Miami, Boston Metro area, and Washington DC.

Outside of real estate, Mr. Chaudhari has expanded his ownership interests in professional sports teams. In 2016, Mr. Chaudhari became a co-owner, director and board member of the English Football League club, Swansea City A.F.C. In 2018, he also became a co-owner and board member of MLS team DC United, and is the sole owner of the South East Melbourne Phoenix in Australia's top basketball league, the NBL
